Luke Abela

Luke Abela received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics (Hons) in 2020 from the University of Malta, and his Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in 2021 from Queen Mary, University of London. His interests include Artificial Intelligence for Language, Vision, Audio and Music. Luke has a significant interest in social issues, and is interested in how modern technology can be used to benefit people and everyday society.

Luke is engaged as a Research Support Officer at the University of Malta, focusing on Optical Character Recognition Techniques. He also currently works in Industry, previously in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things, and more recently in Development and Operations.
